            <description><![CDATA[In Memoriam:  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of Solid Air&#8217;s musical family, guitarist John Salz, who passed away Wed. Aug. 24, 2011.  A phenomenal guitarist, prolific songwriter, player with many bands and a kind and gentle soul whose spirit lives on in the music he gave to the world.             <description><![CDATA[What a great night at the Freight & Salvage, joining our long-time pal, fingerstyle guitarist extraordinaire Dale Miller, for a night of tasty acoustic blues (Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Rev. Gary Davis), original songs, and spirituals.  Especially noteworthy were the Sam 'n' Dale duelin' slide duets, with Sam on Teisco baritone guitar and Dale on National Tricone and Resonator guitars.  We were also joined by "Mighty Mite" Katie White on fiddle for several tunes and her mom Jean for the encore.]]></description>
